We ventured out into the Wyre Forest last weekend to take photos of some adventurous people up in the trees at Go Ape. Heights really aren't my thing, so when we were invited I decided to keep my feet firmly on the ground but camera in hand.
During the afternoon the heavens opened with hail, as you'll see in one of the photos and yet I still carried on taking photos. Thankfully I had my trusty Harris Lamb umbrella which I got printed for them last year to shelter under and keep my camera dry. The weather was wet and gloomy in the forest, yet surprisingly it helped make the dark canopy of trees come to life, with little glimpses of light hitting the damp ground.
Check out some of the photos below that I took from a photographer's eye view on the ground. I love that using some careful composition and cropping, in some of the photos it looks like I'm up in the trees with them... I wasn't!
