A Photography Outing to Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre

I mentioned in my November Favourites that one of my favourite outings last month was to the Worcester Victorian Christmas Fayre. I've been every year that I could since I was young and it's the first event of the season which really gets me in the festive spirit. I went with Sian from Sian Conway Photography and we had a lovely evening wandering around the market feeling all Christmassy with our mulled wine and taking lots of photos. Check out her blog post 'A Very Victorian Christmas'.

Every where I turned there were perfectly decorated stalls, shop windows and streets that I couldn't resist sharing some of the photos I took with you. It's a magical atmosphere and I highly recommend you visit next year. I made a couple of purchases from the stalls, the first was a little hanging metal heart full of oranges and spices from Jormaepourri which my house is now full of the scent of. The second purchase is always a winner... Traditional Fudge! I would also like to give a shout out to Silver Sentiments who had a stall full of beautiful Silver jewellry, the little silver frog pendent in the photo below very nearly came home with me.

We wandered down all the lanes behind the market stalls which is where I took the first photo in my gallery below - It was really interesting trying to get some of these photos in the low light. I took my Fujifilm X-A2 with me, and it managed with the low light really well. I'll leave you with some of my highlights of my visit - Thanks to Sian for the photo of me splashing my cash at the Jormaepourri stall.
